My client needs someone now!

An immediately available position with a friendly, established and rapidly growing business operating in the hospitality and leisure industry. The role is initially available on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent dependent on continued company growth and individual.

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will work within a high-volume, vibrant and friendly finance team and report directly to the Company Accountant. Your time will be predominantly focussed on Purchase Ledger duties, with additional responsibilities on an ad hoc basis.

Specific responsibilities include:

Coding & processing invoices
Liaising with suppliers & dealing with enquiries
Running payments & reconciling supplier statements

You will be a self-starting and immediately available finance professional, with a positive work ethic and experience in a similar Purchase Ledger role. In addition you will have:

Proficiency using Sage 50 and/or Sage 200 systems
Good foundations using Excel, ideally with experience using Pivot Tables and formulas including VLOOKUP
A keen eye for detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.
