Accountancy Firm | Accounts Senior role | £Competitive salary
Your new company
An established firm of accountants, with a varied client base covering numerous industries and business entities, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join and manage the team.
Your new role
You will be assigned your own portfolio of clients ranging from sole traders, partnerships and limited companies to complete the accounts preparation, VAT returns and tax computations. You will be required to liaise with the clients to advise and maintain strong relationships for ongoing future business. You will also be responsible for managing the team of junior accountants by delegating and reviewing work and also handling more complex queries.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be ACA / ACCA qualified, a finalist or qualified by experience and have the relevant experiences gained from an accounting firm or general practice. Part Qualified ACA / ACCA will be considered. Due to the level of the role, and nature of work, this would not be suitable for an accountant who has not worked in an accounting firm.
What you'll get in return
You will be joining a small independent accountancy firm, with the opportunity to further grow your own skills as a qualified/experienced accountant. The firm has an excellent hard working and friendly team that will be in place and able to support you. You will receive a competitive salary, flexible working hours and the opportunity to earn commission through business development.
