Well established firm of Chartered Accountants with an excellent reputation who maintain a portfolio of high quality clients are seeking an ambitious and self motivated Accounts Semi Senior to provide a professional service to their clients.

This role benefits from study support so if you are studying AAT or a part-qualified ACCA/ACA, are ambitious and looking for career progression this is the ideal opportunity for you as this firm can help you further your accounting career.

This is a varied and interesting role preparing accounts, dealing with personal and business tax and general accounting responsibilities.

Duties include

Assist with preparation and completion of accounts/audits at both Practice and client's premises

Completion of periodic and statutory accounts

Completion of accounts/audit preparation programmes

Completion of money laundering documentation

Ensure correct disclosures in accordance with Companies Acts

Prepare Financial Reporting Review and Benchmarking report

Identify possible improvements to client systems

Assisting the Director/Manager in the planning and completion of accounts and audit work

Prepare business tax computations (corporate and non corporate)

Identify dis-allowable expenditure

Assist/prepare draft personal tax computations or returns

Ad hoc assignments assisting directors/managers with consultancy and other work as required.

Ideally you will have experience working with Iris, Excel, Sage 50 accounts, Quickbooks, Kashflow or Xero although training can be provided.

Minimum 2 years Practice experience ideal plus professional qualifications/qualified by experience
