About The Role: We are seeking a career minded Accounts Semi-Senior for a firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers supporting small and medium-size enterprises in the Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire areas. The role offers excellent development opportunities as the practice continues to grow. The role is varied, which will aid advancement of experience in a number of areas including financial reporting, auditing, management accounts, business forecasts, VAT and corporation tax. The role will manage a portfolio of clients, including a number of sme businesses, undertake management accounts, preparation of financial statements and preparation of VAT returns for clients, ensuring deadlines and proper accounting standards are met. Please note the role will require some onsite work with clients.

Requirements: We are open to background and level of qualification as we are seeking to recruit the right person with aptitude and commitment to the practice although you should have previous experience within practice managing a portfolio of clients. You should be a team player who can build good client relationships. You should have a full driving licence and be willing to cover the Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire areas.
