Your new company
You will be joining a well-established accountancy practice who have over 88 staff split between their three offices in Blackburn, Burnley and Bury. They provide general accountancy services to their clients as well as tax, corporate finance, wealth management, and technology and business sector specialists.
Your new role
As an Accounts Semi Senior you will be responsible for preparing accounts for a broad range of clients. Your client portfolio will include some sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will be responsible for liaising with clients over the phone and email to ensure you have all their files in a timely manner and have collated all the relevant information. Within the role you will be responsible for using a variety of client software such as Sage, Xero and Quickbooks.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint a practice trained Accounts Semi Senior and they will consider people who are qualified by experience, AAT qualified, ACA/ ACCA studiers. You must be able to demonstrate previous experience of preparing year-end financial statements ideally to partner review stage and have good communication skills. Ideally, you will live locally to this Blackburn based job.
