Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with one of the region's leading firms who are seeking an Accounts/ Business Services Semi Senior or Senior to join their team in Scunthorpe.

The ideal candidate may be AAT Qualified, ACCA/ ACA part qualified/ recently qualified or qualified by experience with a background in accountancy practice.

This will be a varied role involving the preparation of year end statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, review of bookkeeping, tax compliance, liaising with HMRC and dealing with client queries. A good working knowledge of accountancy software such as Xero or Quickbooks will be beneficial.

Salary is dependent on experience, full study support is optional and our client is offering an excellent remuneration package for the right individual. Part time will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Preparation of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Preparation of management accounts
Liaising with HMRC
Training clients on accountancy software
Dealing with ad hoc client queries

Requirements:

ACA/ ACCA Student/ Part Qualified/ Qualified
AAT Qualified/ QBE
Practice experience is essential
