Are you an Accounts Semi Senior or Accounts Senior, currently working in an accountancy practice, looking to still work in a practice environment but move into an internal finance role? Working directly with the firms Partners, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the firms finances. Your role will include the preparation of both monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts, banking, monitoring invoicing and WIP and credit control. The firm has a small group structure so you will be working also be expected to complete inter company transfers and work on all companies within the group. Training will be provided where necessary. You will use CCH software and gain exposure to other packages such as Xero. You will work in a small yet busy and growing office, and work with experienced and entrepreneurial partners where you will learn a lot of transferable skills and how to run and manage a success business.
To be considered for this interesting and varied new position you must have at least 3 years of work experience in an accountancy practice although more likely you will have between 3 and 5 years experience. It is likely you will be a part qualified / Finalist Accounts Semi Senior or a recently qualified Accounts Senior. You will now be looking to move into an internal finance role where you can still work in an accountancy firm environment, but work internally for the practice firm. This role is perfect for a practice candidate looking to make their first move into industry. You must have experience of preparing both management and statutory accounts, and ideally have experience of CCH (although training will be provided where necessary). You must be very organised, a team player, commercial and be able to work to tight deadlines. You must also have an outgoing personality and enjoy working in a fast pace environment.
