Accounts Receivable Clerk Temp - Perm

Our award winning Client based in Trafford Park are looking to recruit an Accounts Receivable Clerk on a temp - perm basis to join their busy accounts team.

You will work within a large team providing a high level of service to all Customers. It will be your responsibility to ensure that payments are received in an accurate and timely manner, you will ensure that all Customer records are updated to reflect payments made to secure Customer purchases.

Daily duties will include:

  • Processing Customer payments via various payment method and systems
  • Taking payments in various currencies, calculating exchange rates
  • Matching and reconciling bank accounts to our in house system
  • Identify and resolve queries and discrepancies
  • Manage Customer late payments
  • Liaise both internally with various departments and externally with both sales people and customers in the UK and abroad
  • Update Client records
  • Reporting and recording of daily payments

The ideal Candidate will have Credit Control experience and have also dealt with foreign currencies. You will have strong attention to detail and accuracy and be able to work using your own initiative and prioritise your workload
