Accounts Payable Team Member GNFR (Goods not for resale)

Salary: £21,000 (dependent upon experience)

Location: Manchester

What you'll do:

Reporting into the Accounts Payable Team Leader GNFR (Goods not for resale), you’ll be responsible for processing invoices for GNFR (Goods not for resale), ensuring they are completed accurately, timely and in compliance with agreed service level and control standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Process invoices for GNFR and estates, produce weekly reporting and monitoring to ensure all processing is in accordance with current SLA’s and payments are made by the due date to protect Well cash flow and supplier relationships.
  • Manage the timely resolution of escalated queries from both suppliers and internal.
  • Assist in preparation and processing of monthly journals
  • Support Accounts Payable Team Leader GNFR to implement a robust compliance process to ensure suppliers and internal customers are aware and support these processes to ensure invoices are processed efficiently.
  • Support Accounts Payable Team Leader GNFR to create an enabling environment of ongoing learning to enhance colleague engagement, team working and improved service standards and overall customer experience.
  • Audit expense claims to ensure compliance with the Travel and expenses policy.
  • Assist in the review of process documentation and the cross training of new/existing team members to ensure full cover during holidays/absence.
  • Attend monthly one 2 ones and Financial Control Processing meetings to review objectives, discuss work performance.

Key knowledge and skills required for the role:

  • Knowledge and experience of P2P processes and systems.
  • Good working knowledge of all Well process and procedures and understanding of the impact these have on other parts of the business.
  • A good standard of general education (GCSE grade A-C in Maths and English).
  • Proven track record for identifying and then implementing successful process improvements.
  • Very good team player.
  • Open minded to flexible ways of working and able to adapt to new processes and procedures.
  • Great level of communication skills.
  • Capable of working under pressure processing high volumes of work.
