An exciting 3-month temporary contract for an Accounts Payable Manager
Your new company
You will be joining a fantastic and dynamic organisation based near Bournemouth. You will be working within a large finance team reporting into the Finance Manager with several direct reports, initially for a 3 month period, but this has the potential to be extended.
Your new role
In your new job you will be effectively managing the accounts payable function ensuring the smooth day to day running of all aspects of the team. You will be an excellent communicator able to successfully build and develop relationships with both internal colleagues and external suppliers. You will be ensuring the smooth processing of all supplier invoices, ensuring all queries are resolved and managing payment runs. You will be driving process improvement and ensuring debit balances are reconciled and issues are dealt with promptly.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience managing a accounts payable team and have experience working in a busy, high volume/high value environment. This role would suit someone with an inquisitive and keen problem-solving mindset who is able to work well under pressure to achieve targets and deadlines. You will be a confident self-starter, able to motivate a team and will also have excellent communication and IT skills.
