Accounts Payable Manager
The main responsibility of the role is the accurate and efficient processing and payment of all invoices. The post holder will provide a confidential, efficient and courteous service liaising with external stakeholders on behalf of NHS Orkney.
The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of accounts, preferably to NVQ Level 3/Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Technician Level or equivalent experience.
It is essential financial information is processed in accordance with procedure, financial timescales and legal requirements therefore excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are vital.
Excellent communication skills are essential as the post holder will advise and support departments when processing orders to enable goods and services to be ordered and invoiced and will also advise and support departments to resolve any invoice queries with suppliers.
A good knowledge of HMRC tax implications is also required for this post.
