Accounts Payable Clerk

This leading FMCG company are currently looking for a reliable and hard-working individual to join their office in Milton Keynes as an Accounts Payable Clerk. This is a great chance to work for a globally recognised brand, with training being provided on the basis this is an entry level position however ideally you will have experience of invoice processing and good use of excel for this 12 month contract role

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your key responsibilities will be:

  • processing invoices
  • processing the payment run either by BACS or CHAPS
  • handling petty cash
  • matching, batching and coding invoices
  • producing an Aged Creditor Report
  • ad hoc excel spreadsheet work


The ideal Accounts Payable Clerk will:

  • Be immediately available to start on a temporary to permanent basis and able to commit to 12 months ideally
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Be able to work well within a team
  • Have experience using Excel and Accounting systems
  • Relevant experience in similar roles
  • Locally based to Milton Keynes
