A leading Events Management company based in York are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Accounts Payable Clerk to work in their busy offices in the city centre.

The role has arisen due to an internal promotion and will be to support the existing Accounts and Credit team, playing an integral part in maintaining the smooth cash flow of the business. As this isn international business a foreign language, ideally German or French would be a distinct advantage.

Typical duties will include:

• Making payments to suppliers
• Insuring smooth cash flow
• Receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices
• Paying expenses
• Maintaining and filing paperwork
• Maintaining account ledgers

You will be/possess:

• A minimum of 1 years previous accounts experience or studying AAT
• Self motivated and flexible approach
• Excellent multitasker
• Reliable and hardworking
• Trustworthy
• Commercial astute
• Thorough with a good eye for detail
