Accounts Payable Clerk - Wolverhampton - to £18k plus benefits - growing business with great career opportunities
We are working with a dynamic and well-established organisation operating in markets across the world. Based in Wolverhampton, they are a strong player in their sector with very positive growth plans over the next few years. We are now seeking an additional Accounts Payable Clerk for join their finance team on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity to join a business that is experiencing high levels of commercial growth activity. It will be a busy and challenging role for a candidate looking to extend their AP knowledge.
Specifically, the role will involve the following tasks:
- Processing purchase orders and GRNIs
- Resolution of supplier queries
- Posting to correct codes
- Verification of invoices and credit notes
- Document scanning and preparation
- Assisting with the preparation of information for payment runs
- Ad hoc admin and sales support tasks
The successful individual will be a valued member this inclusive and vibrant finance function.
The successful person will ideally have a background in high-volume invoice processing, with a positive and enthusiastic personality, and a strong willingness to offer help and support to a busy team of people. This role will suit someone with a foundation knowledge in all areas of accounts payable, who is used to working in a busy office environment. They must have a strong knowledge of Word & Excel, plus the ability to handle strict deadlines and a high level of detail.
