Our Client, an already successful and very quickly growing business based in Blackburn, is currently looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join them on a permanent basis. We are ideally looking for someone to start immediately however notice periods of up to 4 weeks will be considered. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a background of working in Accounts Payable who would like to work as part of a busy and expanding division.
Your role in your new job
You will provide assistance across the accounts payable team and will carry out duties such as matching, batching and coding invoices; maintenance and reconciliation of the purchase ledger; communicating with suppliers; preparation of payment runs, accruals and pre-payments, bank reconciliation and maintaining the fixed asset register amongst other ad hoc duties.
Your experience and our requirements
You will have experience of working within an Accounts Payable Team and will be able to work well as part of a team. With a professional and tenacious approach, you’ll be able to communicate effectively with a broad range of sources in order to deliver results efficiently. You’ll be self-motivated and committed to achieving high quality results in order to assist with the growth of the company.
