Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Associate looking for a new challenge? Then read on as this could be the role you are looking for. Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Associate required for one of the largest Utility companies based in Coventry. 

Accounts Payable Associate - Role objective:
  • To ensure that all supplier invoices are processed in a timely & efficient manner
  • To ensure that invoices are paid in accordance with agreed purchase order terms
Accounts Payable Associate - Key accountabilities:
  • Opening & collating post
  • Scanning & validating all manual invoices
  • Processing all e-invoices received via OB10
  • Working all invoices to ensure that where possible invoices comply with First Time Matching principles inherent within SAP
  • Working on invoice queries with both internal & external stakeholders to achieve resolution
  • Monitoring of key suppliers to safeguard the supply of critical goods
  • Liaising with staff at all levels within Finance & other business areas
  • Any other appropriate tasks associated with the Accounts Payable process
Accounts Payable Associate - Experience:

In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have:
  • Good understanding of general accounting principles
  • Good understanding of taxation requirements
  • Experience of accounts payable & administration within a large organisation would be preferred
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable systems & document storage/retrieval
  • Experience with SAP would be an advantage
  • Strong IT skills

Essential and/or desirable qualifications for the role
  • Good standard of education - numeracy
  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable environment
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Able to demonstrate a good understanding of IT systems
  • Ideally studying towards an accountancy qualification

Location: Coventry
Pay rate: £8.75ph
Duration: 12/02/2018 to 27/04/2018
