Accounts & Office Manager

I am currently recruiting for an Accounts & Office Manager to join a successful and diverse business based near Chester. Working autonomously you will act as number 2 in a support role to the Finance Manager in the day to day operations of the business.
Duties will include:

* Lead a Finance and Administration team of 7 including work allocation and scheduling
* Ensure that all financial aspects of contracts are delivered
* Assist finance manager in day to day and month end duties
* Calculate Accruals and pre-payments each month
* Complete reports from raw data using Excel
* Preparing Extra Works, P&L accounts and investigating variances
* Report and present on key financials to management team and board in Finance Manager's absence
* Work closely with Contract Managers and client to drive financial and operational results
* Produce Management Information on an Ad Hoc basis
* Controlling Aged Debt Monitoring
* Work In Process Budgeting and Forecasting for future cash flows
* Producing weekly and monthly MI Packs for Directors
* Annual Purchase Orders and Invoices
* Designing and training new procedures for operations to improve efficiency.
* Lead Contract Support Managed SLA's for contract producing monthly stats file
* Ensure KPI's for the contact supports and client SLA's criteria are met

Qualifications & Experience:

* QBE/trainee accountant
* Office/tema management experience (desirable)
* Excellent verbal, and good basic standard of written, communication skills (essential)
* Self-motivated and systematic
* Able to work autonomously
