**Part-Time Accounts Assistant/ Accounts Manager/Bookkeeper**
This expanding business who operate within the leisure industry are looking to recruit an Accounts Manager whose remit will to be to provide up to date and accurate financial information for the management team. Working within a small team your role will include the following duties:

  • Managing the purchase ledger including processing payments
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Writing and handling cheques
  • Reconciliation of finance accounts
  • Processing invoices & expense forms
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Forecasting & budgeting, including variance analysis
  • Completion of quarterly VAT returns
  • Accruals & prepayments
  • Providing general finance advice and assistance as required


The Ideal candidate:

  • Enthusiastic, committed and a fast learner with previous experience of a busy environment
  • Computer literate with an aptitude for numbers
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accountancy procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with individuals across departments and liaise with external customers and contacts
  • Solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload
  • Hold or be studying towards a relevant accountancy qualification
