Our client partners with prestigious luxury OEMs like Volkswagen, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes Benz, Bentley, and Tesla, aiming to repair vehicles to pre-accident manufacturer standards using official manufacturer parts and procedures. Founded in 1984, the company has steadily grown and now forms part of the Group, which is experiencing an exciting phase of expansion with a new state-of-the-art facility being constructed at their HQ site. With a workforce of around 80 employees and continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an Accounts & Finance Manager
About the Role: As the Accounts Manager , you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. Your primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Managing Purchase and Sales Ledger Functions: Ensuring efficient and accurate processing of transactions within the purchase and sales ledgers.

Implementing New Systems and Procedures: Introducing and optimizing accounting systems and procedures to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.

Liaising with Suppliers and Customers: Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and customers, handling inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.

Monthly Management Accounts/Month-End Closures: Collaborating in the preparation of monthly management accounts and contributing to month-end closure processes to provide reliable financial data to the management team.

Handling General and Accounts-Related Inquiries: Addressing incoming inquiries from various stakeholders, providing professional and helpful responses.

Reconciling Supplier Statements and Chasing Outstanding Credit Notes: Ensuring timely reconciliation of supplier statements and pursuing outstanding credit notes when necessary.

Demonstrating Excellent Phone Communication Skills: Exercising strong phone communication abilities when interacting with stakeholders.

Study Support and Training: Providing study support and training opportunities for the right candidate to foster professional growth and development.
Requirements: To be considered for the role of Accounts Manager at Hilton Coachworks, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

Willingness to Adapt and Learn in a Fast-Paced Environment: Being adaptable and open to learning in a dynamic work environment.

Some Knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Packages Preferable: Familiarity with accounting software and standard office applications.

Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external parties.

Good Attention to Detail: Maintaining accuracy and precision in financial records and tasks.

Confident in Commercial Decision Making: Displaying confidence in making decisions that align with the company's commercial objectives.

Equivalent of A-C in English and Maths GCSE: Possessing a level of education equivalent to A-C grades in English and Maths GCSE.
