A proactive and dynamic firm of chartered accountants serving a diverse client base throughout Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Cheshire, and Greater Manchester are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts and Business Advisory Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting and business advisory services. This role offers excellent opportunities for career progression within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and management accounts for a diverse client base.

• Provide strategic business advisory services to clients, including financial forecasting and planning.

• Manage and mentor a team of accountants, fostering professional development and ensuring high standards of work.

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.

• Significant post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice environment.

• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with financial reporting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.

• Proven leadership abilities, including experience in managing and developing a team.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
