Accounts & Audit Senior

We are seeking an Accounts and Audit Senior for a firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers supporting small and medium size enterprises in the local area. The role offers excellent future progression opportunities as the practice continues to grow. The role is varied, which will aid development of experience in a number of areas including financial reporting, auditing, management accounts, business forecasts, VAT and corporation tax.

The role will manage a portfolio of clients, including a number of sme businesses and public sector organisations, which required regular quarterly testing of their accounting systems. You will be liaising closely with the clients to organise the required fieldwork and you should be able to communicate effectively with clients. You will prepare regular management accounts for clients, including profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow forecasts and budgets. You will also be liaising with H.M.R.C. and other third party organisations.

We are open to background and level of qualification as we are seeking to recruit the right person with aptitude and commitment to the practice although you should have previous experience within practice managing a portfolio of sme’s. You should be a team player who can build good client relationships.
