We’re currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our client in Bedford, with the flexibility of hybrid working. This role plays a key part in supporting our day-to-day finance operations and maintaining accurate financial records.
Working closely with the finance team and their wider parent company, you’ll help ensure timely collection of outstanding premiums from clients and contribute to the smooth running of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily finance operations including reconciliations, invoice processing and reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Monitor and support the timely collection of outstanding premiums from clients
Collaborate with the central finance team to ensure consistent practices and support
Help respond to finance queries and assist with general accounting administration
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a finance or accounts support role
Previous experience working in the Insurance industry is desirable
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
A proactive approach to problem-solving and communication
Comfortable working as part of a team and using finance systems
A willingness to learn and grow within the role
