You will be working for one of the UK’s leading construction organisations based in Chelmsford. A company who offers stability, progression and a great working environment.
You will need to be able to drive due to their location.

The Role

To assist the Financial Controller and Finance Team in processing and producing financial information.

• Purchase ledger invoice processing
• Supplier account reconciliations
• Sales ledger invoice processing
• Client account reconciliations
• Subcontractor invoice processing
• Assist with month-end reporting in line with reporting requirements
• Preparation of accounting journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with production of departmental reports
• Assist with annual budget preparation
• Support Financial Controller with ad-hoc tasks

The Candidate

• Previous accounts experience within the construction industry preferred but not essential
• Highly computer literate in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Car Owner / Driver
• Excellent administration and communication skills

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday
9am - 5pm
