Our client requires an experienced Accounts Assistant to work at their Head Office based in the Worthing area. This role would be working as part of a franchised group with prestige vehicles. If you have previous experience as a purchase ledger you will also be considered for this role.

This will be a permanent role working full-time hours, however, for the right candidate there can be some flexibility with the hours.

Your day to day will involve...

Assisting the Purchase Ledger in scanning invoices, paying suppliers and posting daily payments.

Normal Credit Controller duties including chasing payments, resolving queries and forwarding any copy invoices.

You will also be required to carry out any general office duties as and when necessary.

At times, supporting the Financial Controller with any ad-hoc duties may be required.

What we need in you…

Communication skills are key as you will be expected to liaise with other members of the Accounts team on a daily basis.

If you have a positive attitude and can adapt to new situations you will do very well in this role.

Previous experience in an Assistant/Administrative role is necessary.

If you come from an Accounts background, you will definitely be considered.

What is on offer…

A basic salary of £22,000 (for those working full-time hours)

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30 (1-hour lunch break), part-time hours will be considered.
