A division of a PLC construction company based in the city centre. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant to further develop their skills and knowledge by working for a well-established company. The role of the successful Accounts Assistant will cover a range of accounts responsibilities, with the exception of payroll.
- financial accounts to balance sheet
- accruals, prepayments and journals
- bank reconciliations and VAT returns
- end to end purchase ledger processing
- sales ledger and credit control
- producing financial reports using Excel
The successful candidate will have excellent all-round accounts experience and must be proficient in Excel. Some knowledge of sub-contractor ledger and CIS is preferable but not essential.

Our client is offering a competitive salary of up to £25k as well as a discretionary bonus based on KPI, a generous pension scheme and private healthcare. The working hours are flexible with core working hours 08:30 - 17:00, and 25 days holiday per annum + stats.
