Hays are pleased to be partnering with a family owned business in the Keighley area as their company expands creating a new opportunity for an Accounts Assistant. Established for over 100 years this company are always looking to lead from the front to stay ahead of the competition.
Your new role
You will work directly with the finance manager with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, month end preparation. You will also assist with day to day admin tasks for the business including greeting visitors and answering the telephone. Duties include;
Receive, check and collate invoices for accounts payable
Generate, validate and collate invoices for accounts receivable
Resolve invoicing queries from Customers, Suppliers and internal teams
Analysis of trends and monthly costs to costing budgets, preparing Management reports as required. Communicate effectively with Customers and internal teams to resolve issues and improve our ways of working
What you'll need to succeed
You will be experienced in accounts and have ideally used Sage in a previous role but also willing to get involved in a busy and diverse office where team fit is crucial. Good communication is essential as is attention to detail.
