Your new company
You will be working for a global manufacturing company. The organisation are now recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Leeds office on a temporary basis to cover a period of sickness.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, your daily responsibilities will be inclusive of but not limited to:
- Matching and coding Purchase/Sales invoices
- Posting invoices with multiple currencies
- Processing invoices
- Allocating payments
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Monitoring Purchase Ledger email inbox
- Query resolution
- Scheduling supplier payments and assisting with monthly payment runs
- Chasing aged debt
- Assisting in various month end reporting
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role will lead to your success. The client is only considering candidates with good knowledge of payroll. You must have passion and desire to succeed and ideally come from a background of Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger within the same industry.
