The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • sales ledger
  • purchase ledger
  • bank reconciliations
  • cash allocations
  • VAT returns
  • assisting with month-end, posting accruals, prepayments
  • reconciling supplier statements
  • supplier queries
  • weekly/monthly payment runs

The successful candidate will likely have the following skills:

  • strong Excel skills
  • a working knowledge of Sage
  • a working knowledge of VAT returns
  • good communication skills
  • ability to be flexible working as part of a small team
  • ability to work to tight time-scales
