Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to assist with the increase workload and provide support to the Finance team. Proficient in the use of Sage 50 and Xero is a must.
Key responsibilities will include:
Dealing with all aspects of sales ledger ie posting daily customer receipts, raising invoices for account customers and chasing overdue debt.
Company PDQ reconciliations and recording on daily sheets.
Preparing reports in Excel for the preparation of sales invoices.
Dealing with all aspects of Purchase Ledger ie receiving, coding and obtain authorisation of invoices, handling and resolving supplier queries, supplier statement reconciliations.
Maintaining Nominal ledger and analysis.
Assist with accruals and prepayments.
Assist with month end.
Familiarity with EC Sales and Intra Stat returns
Any other ad hoc duties to assist the management team.
The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills as well as being an excellent team player. You must have excellent organisational skills as well as being competent with I.T systems. Having knowledge of Sage and Xero is essential.
