This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work for a very successful brand who specialises within a niche market. The company is looking for an experienced and established Accounts Assistant to provide support to their finance function. The role is based in North Oxfordshire.

The role of Accounts Assistant will help profitable sales growth by performing accounts receivable functions, managing the processing and release of sales orders, and taking responsibility for office administration, banking and reporting.

Key areas of position:

  • Petty cash is managed, with all transactions recorded and signed for
  • All creditor invoices and credit card receipts are correctly coded, authorised and sent to head office daily
  • Preparation for invoice upload is completed daily
  • All reconciliations and other month-end-duties are completed
  • Rebates and contract support
  • Ensure all invoices and payments are processed in a timely manner and all reconciliations are completed in advance of month end
  • Produce and analyse reports as required to support the sales team and President
  • Manage the collection of payments from our customers and ensure all queries are dealt with promptly
  • Assisting with administration and customer service tasks to enable us to deliver exceptional service to our retail customers
