We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our clients team based Widnes.

The role and responsibilities of the Finance Assistant position will include:

  • Assisting the purchase ledger
  • Statement and other reconciliations
  • Assisting payroll
  • Invoice processing
  • Matching, batching and coding
  • Cash handling
  • Resolving complex queries
  • Account maintenance
  • Ad hoc tasks

The ideal candidate will be confident and experienced in a similar finance role and will preferably have experience in the area of hospitality and be able to engage with senior management, staff and suppliers.

Strong Excel skills will also be required i.e. Vlookups and Pivot tables, ability to work to tight deadlines and on own initiative as well as experience with Sage Line50.

This will be an ideal opportunity to work in a fast-paced business which will develop your skills in a unique work environment.
