Sheridan Maine is sourcing for a Interim Accounts Assistant/ Purchase Ledger Clerk on behalf of our client based  local to the Cradley Heath area.  

The Company

My client is an Engineering organisation, who is seeking an Interim Accounts Assistant/ Purchase Leger Clerk for one of their sites based local to Cradley Heath. They are a long standing business, who have enjoyed growth and success over many years. This position is a 3-6 month contract, which may lead to a permanent post.

About the Role:

Duties include but will not be limited too:

- Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and quickly

- Matching invoices to supplier statements

- Reconciliation of supplier statements

- Filing invoices

- Processing of credit notes for a number of allocated suppliers using the allocated systems

- Debt collection

- Dealing with various areas of the business  

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have previously worked for a manufacturing outfit and you will posses strong Purchase Ledger capabilities and have had exposure to Credit Control duties. The ideal candidate will be experienced in:

- Dealing with a high volume of invoices

- Statement Reconciliation

- Matching of invoices

- Debt collection

- Able to communicate at all levels of the business

- Good Microsoft experience
