Wallis Lynch is recruiting a new opportunity for a permanent Accounts Assistant based on the outskirts of Coventry, easily accessible from Solihull, Coventry, Kenilworth or the area surrounding the NEC in Birmingham. Our client is a successful worldwide business looking for accounting support for the Finance Director of a UK division.
The main focus of the role will be to Assist the Finance Director with the preparation of accounts for three companies within the group from ledgers, cash books, VAT to assisting with month end, running reports, reconciliations and posting journals. You will have full responsibility for quarterly VAT returns, cash books, bank reconciliations, sales ledger, purchase ledger, intercompany invoicing, expenses, working on SAP and excel.
You will need to have had some accounting experience previously, ideally within an SME environment and be looking for a position with which you can grow alongside the study support this role offers. Our client has an experienced, established team and have a fantastic work ethic. You will need to be able to communicate well with non finance staff.
