Your new company is a fast growing tech start up business based in North Oxford. The company developed from a world-leading laboratory Professor based at the University of Oxford and has since attracted a significant amount of interest and funding.
Your new role
In your new role you will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager to support all aspects of the organisations finances. Your main responsibilities will be maintaining the financial records such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Cashbook and Weekly Bank reconciliations. You will also be assisting the finance manager with VAT returns, ECSales, IntraStat returns, production of monthly Management Accounts, Balance Sheet reconciliations, Profit & Loss review and Budgeting and Forecasting procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will be studying towards an AAT qualification or equivalent. You will have experience within a finance environment and be willing to learn. The company are experience significant change so the right attitude and adaptability is crucial. Intermediate MS Excel is desirable.
