Accounts Assistant

Optima Professional Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to work for a company based in Leicester. You will be working within a busy Accounts Department and will be required to have the following experience:

  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Balancing the cash book
  • Producing Direct Debit payments
  • Credit Control / Sales Ledger
  • Processing invoice payments
  • Managing expenses and petty cash
  • Dealing with finance queries
  • VAT returns

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as an Accounts Assistant and will have:

  • Bookkeeping skills
  • Good communication skills, written & verbal
  • Ability to multitask
  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated
  • Good IT knowledge, excel skills

Attention to detail and accuracy skills are essential.

This role has a salary range of £20,000 - £25,000.
