Accounts Assistant

JHE & Partners are recruiting an accounts assistant on a permanent basis for a growing business in Keighley. This is an exciting position supporting the Financial Controller in a busy environment working in all aspects of finance. Due to continued growth and success this is a position that is both testing and rewarding for the right candidate..

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Full end-to-end purchase ledger
  • Sales ledger and statement reconciliations
  • Credit control - chasing outstanding monies owed, placing accounts on stop, negotiating payment terms
  • Assist with weekly wages, calculating time sheets and bonuses
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Responsible for company banking and petty cash
  • Run weekly payroll once in-house, collate information for RTI
  • Ad-hoc reporting on Excel using lookups
  • Working on Sage Line 50

Ideally you will have worked in a similar accounting capacity and have a pro-active and strong work-ethic. You might be part AAT qualified or QBE and have a good working knowledge of Excel. This is a diverse role working within a manufacturing environment - hours are 34.5 with early finish on a Friday, auto-enrolled pension, 28 days holiday (including bank), free parking.
