Your new role
This exciting opportunity has arisen due to the continued growth of the business. You will be reporting to the Finance Manager and will be working within a small accounts team. You will be responsible for ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manor and all queries are resolved quickly, and payments, as well as the purchase ledger you will also be responsible for maintaining the sales ledger, daily banking, invoice processing and credit control duties. As the accounts assistant you will also be tasked in ensuring that all petty cash receipts are entered onto sage correctly and reconciled to the related bank accounts and other ad hoc reports.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this new vacancy, you will have at least two years experience within a similar post, you will have the desire to manage your own workload. Previous experience of Sage 50 or 200 or a similar system will be an advantage.
What you'll get in return In return you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, which is paying up to £23,000 depending on experience. Working hours are 9.00 - 5pm Monday to Friday and parking is available on site. You will be working in a friendly and supportive team who all work very well together, they believe in having a good balance in the office and have a positive culture.
