An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a vibrant and forward-thinking Leeds based solicitors in an Accounts Assistant role. The company has recently had a restructure of the finance team and so it is an exciting time to be joining a team in a role which has a lot of scope for progression and development. Previous experience of working within a busy finance team is essential for this role although no formal qualifications are needed as experience, enthusiasm and drive to succeed are more important. For the right candidate they would be happy to offer study support after an initial introductory period.
The duties of the Accounts Assistant role will include:
- Purchase, sales and nominal ledger
- Assisting with monthly management accounts
- Processing firm’s expenditure
- Bank reconciliations
- Reporting of financial information
- VAT returns
- Ad-hoc project work
The successful Accounts Assistant will be an ambitious and eager professional who has had some experience within an accounts environment and is looking for a role where they can flourish and learn within a supportive team. A good knowledge of the Microsoft office is essential - especially the use of Excel.
The candidate must be:
- A team player
- Adaptable and flexible
- Highly organised
- Confident when dealing with both colleagues and clients
- An excellent communicator - both written and spoken.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company who offer a competitive salary of up to £21,000 per annum depending on experience and generous benefits package.
