Accounts Assistant - Leeds City Centre - to £20,000
Accounts Assistant required for my client, based centrally in Leeds. The role of Accounts Assistant is newly created and will be an addition to a busy finance team.
The duties for the Accounts Assistant will include: -
- Assisting with the production of monthly Management Accounts
- Processing prepayments and accruals
- VAT returns
- Reconciling opening balances
- Administration and processing of company credit card transactions
- Maintenance of fixed assets register
- Reporting of financial information on request
- Ad-hoc project work
Some experience would be good, although this is not essential, but an understanding of purchase ledger, nominal ledger and basic accounting principles would be beneficial. Knowledge and experience of using MS Office, including Excel is essential and you will have excellent communication skills.
