Accounts Assistant required for an ongoing temporary opportunity, offering an immediate start in Birmingham City Centre. Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to; processing purchase invoices, staff expenses, raise sales invoices and credit notes, chase overdue debts, allocate payments and bank reconciliations. You will also be involved with various month end tasks; preparing monthly management reports, balance sheet reconciliations and process journals, accruals and prepayments.
The ideal candidate must be immediately available (or 1 week notice) who has previous exposure to a varied Accounts Assistant role and will be able to come it and hit the ground running.
You must be a proactive individual who can manage their time efficiently and comfortably meet month end deadlines.
Preferably you will have strong knowledge of accounting systems and excel including VLook Ups and Pivot Tables.
