This varied role will form a key part of the finance department where responsibilities will include:
-Posting receipts and remittances against customer's accounts in the sales ledger;
-Purchase ledger invoicing and ensuring BACS payments have been correctly processed;
-Create new customer accounts including credit checking and pro-forma recommendations;
-Issuing customer statements, issuing reminders and monthly reconciliations;
-Credit control by telephone and email and ensuring that debtor days are significantly reduced;
-Preparation of aged debt reports on a weekly basis;
-Manage foreign currency for overseas visits and petty cash reconciliation.
Applicants for the position will possess excellent all round transactional finance experience gained from fast moving, SME businesses and will be able to demonstrate excellent credit control and customer service skills.
