This long established firm of chartered accountants who offer a wide range of services to their extensive client base are looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to their team in Windermere. The firm are recruiting due to growth and are forecasting further growth over the coming years.
Your new role
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be working with a range of clients comprising of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from a variety of industries including agriculture, retail and hospitality as well as contractors and the service sector.
You will be required to prepare and submit VAT returns, management accounts and year end accounts inclusive of CT600s, whilst liaising with clients on a daily basis.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you will have worked in a practice previously for at least a year and must be able to complete a full set of accounts. You will be a good user of IT systems and should have a basic knowledge of Sage/ IRIS as well as be able to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues.
