Accounts assistant administrator required to join small marketing team, in an established legal firm currently with over 200 members of staff great opportunity to join a substantial and progressive firm of solicitors. As the Marketing and accounts administrator you will be reporting to the Marketing Partner, you will be responsible for the administration and coordination of a full range of projects, providing an efficient and effective source of administrative support to the Marketing Department. This is a modern thinking firm of Solicitors, with an excellent benefit package.
Invoice and Payments
To check invoices received from Source and ascertain whether payment is applicable.
Liaise with Source to advise if further documents are needed before payment can be made
Manage the recoup payments where applicable
Liaise with Fee Earner regarding Solcase process if required and follow up if necessary
Using the case management system (Solcase) to run the Out Sourced Services process.
Updating Source as and when required by telephone or email, preparing relevant spreadsheet to confirm current position. Monitoring Invoice folder for any invoice reaching payment criteria as and when required.
Forward remittance slips to the Source. Update spreadsheets with payments made, filing etc
If/when Source closes manage recoups by liaison with the Source if applicable. Proactively manage debt procedure by issuing first debt letter and failing response sending Letter Before Action (LBA). Escalate matter to Debt Department if applicable
Monitor website emails and allocate to relevant members of staff. In the absence of the Management Services Officer provide PA cover for the Marketing Partner. Effective use of the CRM system. Any other duties as may be required of you from time to time

Excellent communication skills
Recognised Accounts qualification
Good IT skills including Word and Excel
Confidentiality. Experience gained from working at a senior level.
