We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to work for an expanding Insurance Company. This position has come about due to growth. Working within a very busy team, the successful individual will be a team player, somebody who can support and help others, whilst ensuring you take responsibility for your own workload.
You will have excellent self organisation and be able to work under pressure. Working as part of a team is an essential part of the role as well as being able to prioritise your own work load.
- Processing monthly statements and paying individual cheques on the system
- Processing refund cheques
- Paying cheques in at the bank
- Organising incoming workload
- Dealing with telephone queries
- Doing bank interests
- Dealing with Aged Debtors
At least a year in an Accounts Assistant role.
A minimum of 1 year’s experience required from a broker background of personal lines / household preferred but not essential.

Working Hours : 9am– 5.30pm Monday - Friday
Holidays - 25 per annum plus all bank holidays in addition – increases after 2 year’s service by 1 extra day per annum to a maximum of 30 days.
Honesty days – 3 per year
Travel Passes - You can benefit from an interest free company loan to buy an annual travel pass (bus, train or tram etc). The way this would work is that we would get your annual travel pass which would usually work out cheaper that buying a monthly pass and then it would get deducted from your salary monthly.
