My client is an ambitious and proactive chartered accountancy firm based in Sunderland who take great pride from making every effort to provide a great service to their clients. Ideally applicants will have greater than 2 years’ experience of accounts preparation, however candidates with up to or over 30 years’ experience are also encouraged to apply. You should be able to competently produce accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies using relevant accounting software. Payroll experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
You will be responsible for accounts preparation from client records, both manual and computer based. Where necessary, full training will be provided. In addition, you will liaise with clients, colleagues, and external organisations regarding all day to day matters, queries, and official enquiries.
Finally, you will be expected to maintain an awareness of the range of services provided by the firm and associated bodies, and their relevance to client needs.
Ideally you will be AAT qualified or working towards an AAT qualification, applicants seeking to use their AAT exemptions in pursuit of further qualifications will receive full support from my client, likewise, applications from current students of ACA or ACCA would also be encouraged to apply.
