Building solutions business in Leigh are enjoying a strong period of growth and are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their team who has a minimum of 12 months experience in a transactional role.
You will enjoy a varied role and be involved in most aspects of accounts including involvement in both the Purchase and Sales Ledgers; you will also be given the opportunity to assist in year end procedures.
Due to the business growing they are constantly adding different entities which means progression opportunities are rife; you will have full management of one of the entities financial controls however will be able to delve into others ensuring the role stays varied.
Please find below an overview of the key responsibilities you will be tasked with; my client is looking to appoint the position as soon as possible therefore platinum urge you to apply for the position ASAP.
*Creating new client accounts on Sage
*Ensuring all invoices are correct and processed within 7 days
*Reconciling all delivery notes
*Monthly supplier statement reconciled to the ledger balance on Sage
*Issuing invoices to customers for goods and services provided
*Ensuring all invoices are correct before sending out to clients
*Ensuring all invoices have the correct VAT rates applied
*Issuing credit notes to customers
*Assisting with Credit Control and chasing clients with late payments
*Assisting the Financial director with the preparation of year end accounts
*Backing sage up daily to ensure all accounts are secure and up to date
*Issuing all new customers with application forms
*General administration duties including ordering stationary and filing all statements
