Accounts Assistant

You will be working for an established company in Scarborough.

Your new role

This role is temporary to permanent and will be reporting to the Accounts Manager. You will be mainly responsible for all credit control duties involving chasing overdue payments to reduce aged debt, dealing with queries and checking and allocating cash. When legal action is required you will also liaise with the credit insurance company. You will complete bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, ensure accurate purchase payment processing and compile reports. Ad hoc duties may be required to support the Account Manager.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful you must have similar experience within a previous role, especially within Credit Control. You must have good Excel skills and able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
