Accounts Assistant - Temporary Contract

My client based in Bramley, a technology solutions company is looking for an accounts assistant with Sage 50 experience. The company is preparing to change from Sage to Xero. You will be assisting the accounts manager to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Typical Duties:

  • ensuring the purchase ledger is accurately maintained
  • Invoice Processing, credit notes and expenses to the correct nominal
  • Investigate and resolve purchase ledger queries
  • reconcile supplier statements to purchase ledger accounts
  • Assisting with other accounts related tasks

Ideal Candidate:

  • Purchase and Sales Ledger Experience
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Strong numerical and IT skills
  • Sage 50 experience is essential
  • MS Office experienced


  • Experience of using Xero

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Hourly Rate: Negotiable

Length of Contract: 1 month (possibly longer)
