Sales / Purchase ledger assistant

Job Spec

  • Process sales invoices to Sage
  • Raise and monitor recharge invoices
  • Check and process staff expenses
  • Check and process staff credit card expenses
  • To assist in processing supplier purchase invoices
  • To assist in maintaining up to date and accurate technical and other files as required
  • Assist when required in processing Sage Payroll
  • Processing nominal payments to Sage
  • Carrying out bank reconciliations on the main company bank account
  • To cover for other roles as and when required

Person Spec

  • 2 years practical experience of Sage
  • AAT Level 2 or Qualified by Experience
  • Maths GCSE grade B / 6
  • English GCSE grade B / 6
  • Familiarity with MS Office packages, ideally to EDCL standard
  • Good analytical skills
  • Willingness and ability to work in a small team environment
  • Ability to communicate internally and externally at all levels
