Accounts Assistant (Temp to Perm)

Orka Financial is currently working with a client in Basingstoke who is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on a Temp to Perm basis. The successful candidate will be joining a new team in a busy environment which can offer natural progression along with daily challenges.

The working hours are:

  • Monday-Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Duties include:

  • Query resolution.
  • Invoice & Purchase Order reconciliation.
  • Investigation of holds with internal departments in the business.
  • Daily resolution of invoice holds.
  • Liaising with Financial Shared Services Centre.
  • Use of Excel (Pivot Tables & V Lookups NOT Essential).
  • Use of Oracle System.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an Accounts Payable or Receivable role as well as have excellent query resolutions & communication skills. Experience with Oracle, SAP, SAGE, JD Edwards Software or the implementation of these systems is ESSENTIAL.
